Full Service Cast Iron restoration

Cast iron pipes have not held up over time, they corrode inside and shrink the inside diameter of the pipe, (We once had a building where the pipes first five floors had corroded to be completely solid!). This can also cause uneven and jagged ridges within the pipes that makes it impossible for solids to pass through effectively. The full service restoration begins with a high speed chain snake with carbide tips that fans out to the original diameter of the pipes as it rotates. The carbide tips scrape away at the corrosion and build up inside of the pipes restoring it to its original smooth diameter. After this step is done we come in with the hydro jetter to blast away all of the cast iron flakes, dust, and chunks that have been knocked of the walls by the chain snake. The waste must be collected during this process to avoid it going into the municipal sewer, lift station, septic, or grease trap.
